My life as a writer began with writing educational films but then I happened on an article by author Carolyn See, I was captivated by her style and signed up to take a class from her. She prompted me to contact a local editor. I was incredibly nervous but wrote out what I'd say and made the call. The result? I sold my first two magazine pieces. I'm eternally grateful to her. Since then I've written for a wide variety of magazines including Family Circle, Crawdaddy, Concrete Construction, the LA Times, SF Chronicle and Examiner and more. For me, writing for magazines is a way of exploring the world.
